Sam Mednick

Sam is a freelance journalist and the Burkina Faso Correspondent for the Associated Press. She’s worked and lived all over the world including Africa, Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East covering conflict and humanitarian crises. In addition to her work for the the Associated Press, Sam writes for The New Humanitarian, VICE, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, The Economist, Al Jazeera among others. When Sam’s not in the field she hosts a radio show in Barcelona.
