To say that Israelis are intensely focused on the fate of the more than 230 people being held hostage in Gaza would be an understatement. Forty days into this war, the phrase “Bring them home now!” is everywhere. The World’s Matthew Bell is reporting this week in Jerusalem, where he sat down to speak with peace activist Gershon Baskin. He helped negotiate the release of an Israeli soldier from Hamas captivity in 2011.
