Born in St. Petersburg in 1988, Alexandra Rojkov grew up in Swabia (Schwaben). She has reported from Riga, Cairo, Paris and Jerusalem.
Her reports have received numerous awards, including the CNN Journalist Award for foreign journalism. Forbes Magazine named her one of the 30 best European journalists under 30 in 2016. She has been an editor in SPIEGEL's foreign department since June 2019.
