The Middle East cease-fire is over, as are peace talks between Israel and Hamas.
The Israeli delegation left Cairo this morning, soon after the truce ended and rockets started flying back into Israel.
The Israelis are now responding with airstrikes in Gaza.
CEO and founder of the Israel-Palestine Center for Research and Information Gershon Baskin has previously been involved in negotiations with Hamas, notably talks that led to the release of Gilad Shalit, an israeli soldier held in captivity for five years.
He joins CNN’s Jake Tapper to discuss next steps in this ongoing crisis.
