Elizabeth Murray

Elizabeth took part in a flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza in 2018 and served as Deputy National Intelligence Officer for the Near East in the National Intelligence Council before retiring in August 2010 after a 27-year career in the US government. She specialized in Middle Eastern political and media analysis. She has served as Member-in-Residence of the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action (www.gzcenter.org), a nuclear resistance organization in Poulsbo, Washington. She is a member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) and Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence (samadamsaward.ch). She is conversant in Arabic, German, and Spanish.
